Describe the past year's work of the groups or committees established for continuing codes review. All codes are under continuous review by local trade associates and city departments. The Building Commissioner has held sever- al meetings with the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Council for the purpose of updating the plumbing code. Similar meetings were held with the electri- cal contractors for the purpose of revising the city's electrical code. 1 Continuous meetings are being held with the Mayor's Advisory Committee on i Code Enforcement. It is noteworthy to mention that the City Building Com- j missioner is a member of the National Building Officials Conference and is 33 Chairman of the Materials Approval Committee. The Building Commissioner is a registered architect and a member by appointment of the Governor to the State Administrative Building Council. The City Council is currently in the process of adopting the BOCA Basic 4 Housing Code.
