RESOLUTION NO. 222-69 <br /> RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION <br /> WHEREAS , Thomas H. McNaughton has served this City <br /> of South Bend , Indiana , faithfully and well in his capacity <br /> as a police officer and as Chief of the South Bend <br /> Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS , Thomas H. McNaughton is now retired after <br /> 20 years of most able and competent service to this <br /> community; and <br /> WHEREAS , this community wishes to recognize Thomas <br /> H. McNaughton and to commend him for the innumerable <br /> projects which he has undertaken on behalf of this <br /> community in the past 20 years and to congratulate him <br /> on an outstanding record as a police officer and as <br /> Chief of Police . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Common Council <br /> of the City of South Bend does hereby recognize Thomas <br /> H.
