Parking Structures RESOLUTION NO. 241-70 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MONTHLY RATES FOR PARKING IN THE MUNICIPALLY OWNED PARKING FACILITIES AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, JUNE 8, 1970 WHEREAS, two off street parking facilities now being erected by the City of South Bend in the down town area are nearing completion and will soon beturned over to the City for use and operation; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend employed Harland Bartholomew and Associates , a consulting engineering firm, to make recommendations to it regarding the operation of said park- ing structures ; and WHEREAS, the said consultants have made certain recom- mendations regarding the operation of said structures ; and WHEREAS, included among such recommendations was a recommendation that a monthly rate for all day parkers be established in addition to the daily rates heretofore set by ordinance . WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the ", City of South Bend, Indiana, on June 8, 1970 , adopted a resolu- tion tion establishing a rate of $20 .00 a month for all day parkers in the municipally owned off street parking facilities . NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I .
