+ " ORDINANCE NO. 5154-70 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $583, 510 .00 <br /> FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING <br /> FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, engineering studies have been completed <br /> outlining certain storm water flood control projects, and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are now needed for appraisals, land <br /> accxuisition, design engineering and construction of said first <br /> priority projects, and <br /> WHEREAS, a Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund <br /> has been established. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH .BEND, INDIANA: <br /> SECTION I. That the sum of $583, 510.00 be appropriated <br /> from the Cumulative Sewer Building and Sinking Fund for the <br /> projects and in the amounts set forth below: <br /> Pro-iect I - 1970 <br /> Washington & 36th Street Storm Water <br /> Detention Basin (Lagoon K) $159, 960.00 <br /> Project II - 1970 <br /> Ponsha & 33rd Street Storm Water <br /> Detention Basin (Lagoon A) 113, 350.00 <br /> Project III - 1.970 <br /> Sampson & Randolph Street Storm Water <br /> Detention Basin (#3) 294 , 000.00 <br /> Project IV - 1970 <br /> Chippewa & Main Street Storm Water <br /> Improvements =16, 200-00 <br /> TOTAL: 583 , 510.00 <br /> SECTION II.
