RESOLUTION NO. 259-71 <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE REPRESENTATIVE <br /> AUTHORIZED TO APPLY WITH THE APPROPRIATE <br /> AGENCY FOR A GRANT UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC <br /> LAW 660. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is considering the <br /> construction of certain sewage works improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Law 660 Federal funds are <br /> available in the form of an outright grant for certain <br /> stream pollution abatement projects ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is believed that the major portion of the <br /> sewage works improvements proposed by the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana, qualify for a Federal grant; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal Water Quality Administration requires <br /> that the authorized representative of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana' s governing body be designated by both name and title, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> That Lloyd M.
