• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 9`J- '-7 oZ <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE REPRESENTATIVE AUTHORIZED TO APPLY <br /> WITH THE APPROPRIATE AGENCY FOR A GRANT UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC <br /> LAw 66o. <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is undertaking the con- <br /> struction of certain sewage works improvements; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Law 660 Federal funds are <br /> available in the form of an outright grant for certain stream <br /> oollution abatement projects; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is believed that the major portion of the <br /> sewage works improvements proposed by the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana, oualify for a federal grant; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal Water Quality Administration reouires <br /> that the authorized representative of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indi-ana 's governing body be designated by both name and title, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br /> That Jerry J.
