CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING MAY 2, 2017 128 <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:01 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />May 2, 2017, by Board President Gary Gilot with Board Members Elizabeth Maradik, Suzanna <br />Fritzberg, and James Mueller present. Board Member Therese Dorau was absent. The meeting was <br />held in the 13th Floor Boardroom, County -City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Maradik stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully <br />supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and <br />the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Maradik <br />stated the following claims were submitted to the Board for approval <br />Name <br />Amount of Claim <br />Date <br />City of South Bend Non -Check Disbursements <br />$1,468,727.19 <br />05/02/2017 <br />Centier Bank; Thieneman Construction Release of <br />$30,000 <br />04/25/2017 <br />Retainage for Wastewater Treatment Plant Grit & Screening <br />Improvements; Requisition No. 65 <br />U.S. Bank National Association; Lease Rental Revenue <br />$9,380.19 <br />04/28/2017 <br />Bonds of 2015; Norfolk Southern Railway <br />Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be <br />approved as submitted.
