PETITION FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION <br /> FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 226 E INDIANA AVENUE <br /> SOUTH BEND IN 46619 <br /> 1 Dora, owner of 226 E Indiana Avenue, am requesting a special Exception seeking a <br /> special exception for a two family dwelling in a "SF2" District in order to permit <br /> rehabilitation of a duplex. <br /> The proposed use will not be injurious to the public health, safety, comfort, community <br /> moral standard, convenience or general welfare as the property will be restored to its <br /> original condition or better as the rehabilitation will be done to the current city codes. <br /> The proposed use will not injure or adversely affect the use of the adjacent area or <br /> property values therein as I desire to provide housing that is attractive, safe and <br /> comfortable. <br /> The proposed use will be consistent with the character of the district in which it is <br /> located and the land used authorized therein. I would like to improve the concept of the <br /> neighborhood to attract families to attractive housing.
