Dear Mr. King: y This letter is in response to the proposal set forth in your letter of June 23 , 1972 pertaining to the issuance of a revenue bond for Metalstamp, Inc. of Walker- ton, Indiana. As I noted in our telephone discussion covering this matter the land in question located along Indiana High- way No. 23 in Greene Township is presently zoned "A" Agri- cultural which does not permit manufacturing activities . However, Metalstamp , Inc, has petitioned for the subject j property to be zoned from "A" Agricultural to "M" Manufac- turing. This matter will be given public hearing by the Area Plan Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting August 15, 1972 at 7 :30 P.M. Following the public hearing the Area Plan Commission will submit its recommendation to the County Com- missioners for final action of granting or denying the peti- tion for changing the property from "A" Agricultural to "M" Manufacturing as proposed by Metalstamp, Inc . Should the property in question be rezoned to 'II'I" Manufacturing your Commission caa anticipate favorable action on the part of the Area Plan Commission for the proposed bond issue in favor of Metalstamp , Inc.
