FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> Irene Gammon <br /> ` CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 345-72 <br /> A RESOLUTION REDUCING VARIOUS ACCOUNTS IN THE DEC , <br /> 1973 MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND BUDGET OF THE <br /> CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA BY $223,298.00. <br /> WHEREAS, a request has been filed by the Mayor of the City of South <br /> Bend, Saint Joseph County, Indiana that it be declared the intent of the <br /> highest executive officer to use Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in the calendar <br /> year 1973 for the funds and purposes and in the amounts set out below: <br /> Motor Vehicle Highway Fund <br /> Budget Current Revised Amount <br /> Classification 1973 Budget 1973 Budget Reduced <br /> SERVICES PERSONAL $809,379.00 $670,200.63 $139,178.37 <br /> SERVICES CONTRACTUAL 2,150.00 1,780.63 369.37 <br /> SUPPLIES 13,375.00 11,077.18 2,297.82 <br /> MATERIALS 275,662.00 228,303.27 47,358.73 <br /> CURRENT CHARGES 3,200.00 2,650.24 549.76 <br /> CURRENT OBLIGATIONS 137,500.00 113,877.50 23,622.50 <br /> PROPERTIES 57,750.00 47,828.55 9,921.45 <br /> TOTAL $1,299,016.00 $1,075,718.00 $223,298.00 <br /> AND, WHEREAS, approval must be given by the appropriating body <br /> of each municipal corporation for the use of such funds for the purposes <br /> specified; <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriating body reduce the <br /> 1973 budget as set out above and that a copy of this resolution be furnished <br /> the State Board of Tax Commissioners and that board be authorized and directed <br /> to apply the amounts set out above to the 1973 budget of this governmental <br /> unit and accordingly reduce the tax levies of such funds for the year 1972 <br /> payable in 1973. <br /> Be it further resolved that the proper officials will appropriate <br /> from the Trust Fund, after January 1, 1973, at least a sufficient amount to <br /> offset the above reductions. <br /> Member of the mmon Cou 1 <br /> Adopted by the Common Council this 18 day of December 1972. <br /> NAY AYE <br /> Joseph T.
