REPORT OF CITY OF SOUTH BEND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MAKING CERTAIN ESTIMATES j Pursuant to the Municipal Economic Development Act of 1965 as amended, the City of South Bend Economic Development Commission is required to make certain estimates in regard to the proposed con- struction of a building by Gentner Packing Co. , Inc. of South Bend, Indiana. The estimates are as follows: (1) The number of public services or facilities, including streets, sidewalks, schools, sewers, street lights, fire and police protection which would be made additionally necessary or desirable on account of the proposed con- struction are none and the expenses therefore are none. (2) The total project cost of the proposed facilities was originally estimated for a two-phase program. Phase I at a cost of $500, 000 has been completed. Phase II at an approximate cost of $150, 000 will complete the entire project covering purchase of real estate and construction of a building thereon and equipment therein. (3) The number of jobs to be created by the proposed facilities will remain as originally stated at fifteen immediately with a potential of fifty or more. This is Phase II of an expansion program of a well known operation in the community, and since this property is located in the County, we are working in conjunction with the St. Josep bonds has beenlreceiv d commitment letter to purchase the additional by the Commission from a local institution. r
