t <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7 3 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NEW ACCOUNT WITHIN THE 1973 <br /> BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND <br /> ACCOUNT NO. Y530, "AWARDS, REFUNDS, AND INDEMNITIES", AND <br /> TRANSFERING IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,244.00 FROM ACCOUNT Y532, <br /> "PENSIONS TO FIREMEN BECOMING ELIGIBLE DURING THE YEAR", <br /> WITH AMOUNTS BEING PAYABLE WITHIN THE FIREMEN'S PENSION <br /> FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br /> the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to <br /> establish a new account within the Firemen's Pension Fund in order to meet <br /> such extraordinary conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, funds are needed for the Firemen' s Pension Fund <br /> Account No. Y530, "Awards, Refunds, and Indemmities", to assure that office's <br /> ability to properly perform its functions; and <br /> WHEREAS, a surplus exists in Firemen's Pension Fund Account No. Y532, <br /> "Pensions for firemen becoming eligible during the year", and this surplus is <br /> not presently needed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana: <br /> SECTION I. That a new Account No. Y530, "Awards, Refunds, and <br /> Indemnities", will be established in the Firemen's Pension Fund and that <br /> $4,244.00 be transfered from Firemen's Pension Fund Account No. Y532, <br /> "Pensions to firemen becoming eligible during the year", to this new account. <br /> SECTION II.
