• r <br /> REPORT OF CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br /> i� <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> MAKING CERTAIN ESTIMATES <br /> itr <br /> I <br /> 't <br /> Pursuant to the Municipal Economic Development Act of 1965 <br /> as amended, the City of South Bend Economic Development Commission <br /> is required to make certain estimates in regard to the construction of <br /> a building to house service type enterprises in the town of Roseland <br /> at 201 Dixie Way North. The estimates are as follows: <br /> 1 <br /> (1) The number of public services or facilities, including <br /> streets, sidewalks, schools, sewers, street lights, fire <br /> and police protection which would be made additionally <br /> necessary or desirable on account of the proposed construction <br /> are small and the increased tax base to the town of Roseland, <br /> Clay Township and St. Joseph County will more than offset <br /> any expense, <br /> (2) The total project cost of the proposedfacility will be <br /> $240, 000. 00. <br /> (3) The number of jobs to be created by the proposed <br /> facility would be upwards of 70 people. <br /> 3 <br /> .i <br /> Mr. Fagen has been in business in the town of Roseland for <br /> a number of years and is very much interested in contributing his <br /> efforts to improving the economic base of that community. <br /> z <br />
