i EXTRACTS FROM THE MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT HELD ON THE 6th DAY OF APRIL, 1973 The South Bend Redevelopment Commission governing body of the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment met in regular meeting at 1200 County City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend , Indiana at 10 : 30 A.M. on the 6th day of April , 1973 , the place , hour, and date duly established for the holding of such meeting . The President called the meeting to order and on roll call the following answered present : Fred J. Helmen President John E. Chenney Vice President B. L. Wade Assistant Secretary Donald Wiggins Member and the following were absent : Rev. Willie V. Williams-Secretary The President declared a quorum present. A Resolution entitled: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION DECLARING THE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA (S) (MN#1) MODEL NEIGHBORHOOD AREA #1 AND (SE#1) SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD AREA #1 TO BE BLIGHTED AND APPROVING AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH RELOCATION PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR PROJECT NUMBER INDIANA A-10. was introduced by Mr. Fred J. Helmen. Said Resolution was then read in full and discussed and considered. Mr . Wiggins then moved the adoption of the Resolution as introduced and read. Mr. Wade seconded the motion, and, on roll call , the following voted "Aye" : Unanimously Carried and the following voted"Nay" : NONE The President thereupon declared the motion carried and the Resolution .adopted as introduced and read. There being no further business to come before the meeting , upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned.
