RESOLUTION NO. Z25`70 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDATORY CONTRACT FOR NORTHEAST CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> PROJECT, INDIANA E-3 <br /> WHEREAS, under the date of May 24 , 1973 the Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated an additional $57 , 341 <br /> as a grant to assist in the financing of the subject Code Enforcement <br /> Project ; and <br /> WHEREAS, $57 , 341 of this additional grant is for rehabilitation <br /> grants , which is 1000 (per cent) reimbursable by the Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development ; and <br /> WHEREAS, HUD has tendered to the City of South Bend, Indiana <br /> an Amendatory Contract identified as Indiana E-3 (AMT-2) to <br /> incorporate said additional grant into the original contract ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana that said Amendatory Contract #2 is <br /> approved and the authority is given to the Mayor of the City of <br /> South Bend to execute said contract on behalf of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana and that the Executive Director of the Department <br /> of Redevelopment is hereby given authority to submit said contract <br /> of said City to HUD and to act as correspondent in all matters <br /> pertaining thereto . <br /> MMber Common C6tincil <br /> Member Common Council <br /> Member Common Council <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> JUN 14 1973 <br /> PRESENTED G - 2 '7 - 7 �3 <br /> NOT APPROYQ <br /> � - - -t- -7- 4 9 3 Irene Gammon <br /> CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br /> ADOPTED <br />
