RESOLUTION NO. X37 6-�73 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDATORY CONTRACT FOR MODEL CITIES CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> PROJECT, INDIANA E-5 <br /> WHEREAS, under the date of May 24 , 1973 the Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated an additional $52 , 639 <br /> as a grant to assist in the financing of the subject Code Enforcement <br /> Project ; and <br /> WHEREAS, $52 , 500 of this additional grant is for rehabilitation <br /> grants , which is 1000 (per cent) reimbursable by the Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development ; and <br /> WHEREAS, HUD has tendered to the City of South Bend, Indiana an <br /> Amendatory Contract identified as Indiana E-5 (ANIT-2) to incorporate <br /> said additional grant into the original contract ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana that said Amendatory Contract #2 is approved <br /> and the authority is given to the Mayor of the City of South Bend to <br /> execute said contract on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana and <br /> that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is <br /> hereby given authority to submit said contract of said City to HUD and <br /> to act as correspondent in all matters pertaining thereto. <br /> Member Common—Council <br /> Member Common Council <br /> Member Common Council <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> JUN 141973 <br /> PRESENTED -a7-73 <br /> 7- 9- 73 Irene Gammon <br /> NOT APPROVED CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br /> ADOPTED 7- 9-73 <br />
