RESOLUTION NO. 397-73 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> EXPRESSING THE COUNCIL'S SUPPORT FOR <br /> THE REINSTATEMENT OF THE TWENTY CENT <br /> TAX RATE FOR THE CUMULATIVE BRIDGE <br /> FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council recognizes the <br /> urgent need for the repair and building of bridges in <br /> St. Joseph County, including the City of South Bend; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council believes that a twenty <br /> cent tax rate for the Cumulative Bridge Fund is essential <br /> for the proper maintenance and construction of bridges <br /> in St. Joseph County, including the City of South Bend, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common <br /> Council of the City of South Bend that the South Bend <br /> Common Council fully supports the efforts of the St. <br /> Joseph County Commissioners to reinstate the full twenty <br /> cent tax rate for the Cumulative Bridge Fund. <br /> i <br /> M 7 f the Common Council <br /> Adopted November 13, 1973 <br />
