RESOLUTION NO. 4a s- 17 44 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SOUTH BEND DAM REPAIR PROJECT, <br /> AND AUTHORIZING THE PURSUANCE OF A LOAN FROM THE FLOOD <br /> CONTROL REVOLVING FUND OF THE STATE OF INDIANA. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend owns the South Bend Dam in <br /> South Bend, and <br /> WHEREAS, said Dam is in need of repair, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Common Council has already appropriated some <br /> monies for this project, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is repairing the South Bend <br /> Dam for flood control , aesthetic, historical , safety, and fish <br /> conservation reasons. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana: <br /> SECTION I . That the Common Council authorize and approve the <br /> South Bend Dam Repair Project and also authorize the preparation and <br /> submittal of an application for a loan from the Flood Control Revolving <br /> Fund of the State of Indiana. <br /> SECTION II .
