At the time the <br />Fire Department occupies this new building, the old stations at 2222 <br />Lincoln Way West and 1210 West Thomas Street will become surplus <br />property, and will not be needed by the City of South Bend. It is the <br />recommendation of the Board of Public Works that these parcels be <br />advertised for sale. <br />The attached resolution is being forwarded for your review and action <br />regarding this sale. <br />I would appreciate having this matter placed on your agenda at the <br />next Council meeting so that the Board of Public Works may proceed with <br />this matter in accordance with your action at the earliest possible <br />date. <br />Very truly yours, <br />Rollin E.
