Hojnacki Director, Human Resources and Economic Development Mr. Roger Parent President South Bend Common Council 4th Floor County -City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 Dear Mr. Parent: The attached resolution which would enable the city of South Bend to apply for a homesteading grant from the U.S. government represents another step in implementing an overall housing program for the city of South Bend. It should be pointed out that if South Bend is selected for this program by HUD it can be implemented with no additional local funds.
