Ms. Dorau seconded the motion, which carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Erin Blasko, South Bend Tribune, stated he was present on behalf of his parents who live at <br />922 S. 21s' Street adjacent to the proposed site of the new Fire Station No. 9. Mr. Blasko <br />informed the Board they are concerned about the impact of the new station on their property <br />value and he encourages the City to include the immediate neighbors and the general public on <br />the design going forward. Mr. Gilot noted there are obvious safety benefits, but the Fire <br />Department wants to be a good neighbor and has worked with the neighborhood diligently on the <br />selection of the new site. He stated the Board would pass on the message to include the <br />immediate neighbors on the design and the buffering plan. Attorney Schmidt noted there is not a <br />
