RESOLUTION NO. 526 -76 A RESOLUTION OF THE.COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, .APPROVING THE AWARDING OF ONE CONTRACT IN EXCESS OF $5,000 FOR REHABILITATION WORK IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 5872 -75, passed by the South Bend Common Council on August 11, 1975, all contracts under the Community Development Housing Program in excess of $5,000 must be approved by the Common Council; and WHEREAS, the best bid for 36 properties to be rehabilitated under the Community Development Housing Program has exceeded $5,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. That approval be granted to the Redevelopment Commission of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to enter into a contract with Charles Brown Maintenance Service for the rehabilitation of the following properties in accordance with project specifications of the Housing Allowance Elderly and Handicapped Referrals Program: 510 S. 24th Street 3902 Western Avenue 338 N. Olive Street 824 S. Jackson Street 1235 E. Campeau Street 1701 S. Scott Street 1311 Hine Street 1314 Hine Street 219 E. Donald Street 2214 Chapin Street 1229 W. Napier Street 1225 Eastbrook Drive 1134 S. Franklin Street 617 Cottage Grove 617 N. Walnut Street 1306 E. Miner Street 1921 S. Brookfield Street 1909 S. Ironwood Drive 721 24th Street 1114 N.
