RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, OFFICIALLY WELCOMING <br />REVEREND AND MRS. IVOR THOMAS REES OF ENGLAND <br />TO OUR COMMUNITY <br />WHEREAS, Reverend and Mrs. Igor Thomas Rees of Epsom, <br />Surrey County, England, are presently spending a six week <br />period in our community; and <br />WHEREAS, Reverend Rees is a visiting exchange pastor <br />with the Zion United Church of Christ, South Bend, Indiana <br />and is from the United Reform Church, Ewell Congregation, <br />in Epsom, England, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE. IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. That the Citizens of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, through their Common Council, officially welcome <br />Reverend and Mrs. Ivor Thomas Rees of Epsom, Surrey County, <br />England to our community. <br />SECTION II. That the Common Council recognizes the many <br />benefits attributable to such cultural exchange programs between <br />the various nations and encourages the development of such pro- <br />grams. <br />SECTION III.
