RESOLUTION NO.a;.2 j6 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CGEEN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT <br />TO THE STATE OF INDIANA, AN APPLICATION FOR PERSONNEL <br />TRAINING UNDER THE INTERGOVERNgENTAL PERSONNEL ACT <br />OF 1970 (IPA), (P.L. 91 -648). <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana; and <br />WHEREAS, the Chief Executive Officer is required to submit an <br />application to the State of Indiana, pursuant to provisions of the Inter- <br />governmental Personnel Act of 1970; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. Hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of South <br />Bend to submit an application requesting ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) <br />for personnel training pursuant to the Intergovernmental Personnel Act <br />of 1970 (IPA), (P.L. 91 -648). <br />SECTION II. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its adoption by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />PRESENTED 10 - I/ <br />NOT.
