RESOLUTION NO. OF COKTAON COUNCIL OF CITY OF SOUTH BEND Resolution Approving and Confirming Establish- ment of St. Joseph County Airport Authority District and Approving St. Joseph County Airport Authority Board Ordinance No. 76 -8 WHEREAS, the Indiana General ,Assembly by Public Law No. 304 of the Acts of 1971 authorized the establish- ment of an airport authority district whenever the council of any county shall adopt an ordinance, an act or a resolution in favor of the establishment of an airport authority district for that county, and, WHEREAS, after taking effect of said Act the County Council of St. Joseph County did, on June 19, 1973, adopt a resolution authorizing the establishment of an airport authority district for St. Joseph County, Indiana, and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said reso- lution no remonstrance or remonstrances petitionina against the establishment of such airport authority dis- trict was or were filed by the registered voters of St. Joseph County, and, WHEREAS, by virtue of the provisions of said Act, the members of the Board of the St. Joseph County Airport Authority were duly appointed and met in its initial or- ganization meeting on December 28, 1973, and, WHEREAS, September 10, 1976, the Board of the St. Joseph County Airport Authority adopted a resolution approving the issuance and sale of bonds of the St. Joseph County Airport Authority for the purpose of se- curing funds to be applied on the cost of improvements to the St. Joseph County Airport specifically set forth in said resolution, and,
