The funds will be used to purchase the <br />1976 -1977 Polk Profiles of Change for the City of South Bend. <br />The Profiles of Change is an urban statistical package which includes <br />population, housing, social and economic data on the current conditions <br />and trends in the city and its census tracts. <br />The "Polk Data" has been a valuable planning tool and document not only <br />for the Community Development Program, but also for general planning and <br />city management functions. We have utilized Polk Data to develop specific <br />plans and programs.
