<br />The Douglas Road TIF was established to develop the road and area near the border
<br />between South Bend and Mishwaka. The fund borrowed money from the City of Mishawaka
<br />and Major Moves Fund (412) to finance construction. TIF tax revenue is used to repay the
<br />loans. During February 2015, the amounts due to the City of Mishawaka was paid in full.
<br />Payments will now be accelerated on the Major Moves loan in order to pay it off as early as
<br />available cash allows.
