RESOLUTION NO. :r <br />4 9 -7 j <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS TO NEGOTIATE THE SALE OF A PARCEL OF LAND <br />KNOWN AS 721 -725 S. FELLOWS STREET. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />pursuant to the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, <br />Section 14.5 -2 (e) (5), has offered for sale Lot <br />Lettered "AC" as shown on the recorded Plat of A. R. <br />Sample's Subdivision of Lots Numbered Twenty -six (26), <br />Twenty -seven (27) and Twenty -eight (28) of Denniston <br />and Fellows' Addition to the Town, now City, of South <br />Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, also known as <br />721 -725 S. Fellows Street, at an offering price of <br />$991.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend has <br />now received an offer to purchase the property at <br />721 -725 S. Fellows Street for a price of $700.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has now complied with all <br />requirements of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br />Bend, Section 14.52, which establishes procedures for <br />the disposition of real property owned by the City of <br />South Bend, and more specifically real property valued <br />by the Board at less than $1,000.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend that: <br />PRESENTED % <br />NOT APPROVED <br />ADOPTED 8 - 9- 7 2 <br />Section I. The Board of Public Works be authorized <br />to negotiate for the sale of a <br />Lot Lettered "AC" as shown on the recorded Plat <br />of A.R. Samples Subdivision of Lots Numbered <br />Twenty -six (26), Twenty -seven (27) and Twenty -eight <br />(28) of Denniston and Fellows' Addition to the <br />Town, now City, of South Bend, in St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana, <br />commonly known as 721 -725 S. Fellows Street, for a <br />total price of $700.00. <br />Section II.
