After hearing all present concerning this case, it was the decision of <br />the Board to grant a continuance of 90 days in order to get property <br />up to standard. During this period, nobody will be permitted to move <br />into this house and, if at the end of this continuance the property: <br />has not been brought up to standard, it will be demolished. <br />A progress report on property located at 1147 N. Johnson Street was <br />presented to the Board by Mr. Grabarz and Chief Downes. Their report <br />was identical that no progress has been made in bringing this property <br />up to standard. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT INSTALLATIONS) - SCOTTSDALE_ <br />Following the recommendation of Nicholas Horvath, Superintendent of <br />the Electrical Department, the following installations were approved: <br />10 - 4000 lumen lights Scottsdale Addition as per proposal <br />1 - 4000 lumen light at 1309 Altgeld St. <br />1 - 4000 lumen light at 920 Weber Circle <br />1 - 4000 lumen light at Piedmount & Trent -Way <br />All the above in Scottsdale Addition "B" and "C". <br />PETITION TRAFFIC SIGNS TRAFFIC ENGINEER <br />A Petition from residents of the east one-half of the 700 block, East <br />Broadway request "No Parking" signs to be placed in front of the <br />residences reflecting no parking between the hours of 8:00 A.M. <br />to 9:00 A.M. and 3.00 P.M. and '74:00 P.N.. <br />The Petition was referred to the Traffic Engineer for investigation and <br />recommendation. <br />_CIVIL DEFENSE MINUTES <br />Minutes of the meeting of the Civil Defense Advisory Council, held on <br />November 8, 1961 were accepted by the Board and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />Street Llght Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />PETITION ( STREET LIGHT) POST OFFICE <br />A Petition from Postmaster Granville Ziegler and others reauesting a <br />street light on S. Franklin Street, approximately 1619 S. Franklin, was <br />referred to the electrical Department for investigation and report., and <br />recommendation. <br />_WEIGHTS & MEASURES REPORT <br />A report from the, Department of Weights & Measures for October was <br />accepted by the 1%ard, examined and ordered placed on file. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT ( APPLICATIONS <br />The following applications for the Police Department were accepted and <br />ordered placed on file: Anthony A. Gish, Larry Munger. <br />_AUXILIARY POLICE APPLICATION <br />An application for Auxiliary School Police from Marjorie Jean Jones was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BOND ( DETECTIVE AGENCY) <br />A Bond for Richard L. Crush to conduct the business of a private detective <br />was approved and ordered placed on file. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS <br />The following applications for the Fire Department were accepted and <br />ordered placed on file: John Zrobek, Jr., Richard C. Dombrowski. <br />
