' S, 1 1 [I There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. Attest; Anthony P7 Sabo, Clerk November 13, 1961 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, November 131-. 1961 at 10:00 A.M. CST. All members were present. Minutes of the last regular meeting were.read and approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered paid to.the various suppliers. AWARDING OF BID FIRE DEPARTMENT FIRE HOSL After due examination, it was the decision of the Board that the bid for fire hose be awarded as follows: Midwest Fire & Safety Equipment Co., Inc. 1605 Prospect, Indianapolis, Indiana 211 Bilateral All -Dacron 100% dacron d.�. fire hose 600 lb. working pressure test, coupled per specifications, (loose construction with fabric reinforcement backing at points of fold) 1,400 ft. $1.96 ft. Less .12 ft. for aggregate of 2500 feet or more 1.84 ft. 1,400 ft. 12" (same as above, except for size) $1.51 ft. Less .12 ft. for aggregate of 2500 feet or more 1.39 ft. All prices F.O.B. South Bend, delivered as required Bids on smaller size hose will be awarded at a later date, after samples as requested are received and examined. TRAFFIC ENGINEER( TRAFFIC SIGNS) Following the recommendation of the Traffic Engineer, the following installations were approved: 1 hr. time limit signs installed in front of 501 N. Main St., 2 signs. 2 �rl hr. time limit signs installed on north side of 200 W. Marion Street alongside 501 N. Main Street. Stop Signs installed on Blaine Ave., both sides, at Vassar, making this a 4-way Stop intersection. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT( PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT) A Petition signed by residents on Piedmont and Trent -Way Streets for a Street Light at Piedmond and Trent Way was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation and recommendation.
