Binder The bids will -be examined and awarded not later than November 13, 1961. All bids are subject to examination by all bidders. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ( STREET LIGHT) A petition for a street light at 1026 N': College at Alley was referred to the Electrical Department for investigation and report. The petition was signed by David J. Horning and others. SPECIAL POLICE BONDS Special Police Bonds for Andrew J. Konya and Joseph Pyclik, employees of the Torrington Company were approved and ordered placed on file. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT A report for the month of October from the Building Department was accepted and ordered placed on file. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION HEARINGS Comes now William Morris with reference to a dwelling at 309 E. Paris Strut. Said dwelling has not been brought up to standard within the time allotted. Mr. Morris stated that this property has been sold to Mr. Foster on Land Contract. Mr. Morris also stated that everything on the interior of the dwelling will be completed by January 15, 1962 and the e4terior will be completed at a later date. After hearing Mr. Morris who requested a continuance of this hearing, the Board granted a continuance until April 9, 1962 at which time this dwelling must be brought up to standard. With reference to property at 1705 Robinson Street, Mr. J. I4r. Rothkopf of Acme Realty Company appealed a demolition order for property located at above address and requested a 30 day continuance. The Board granted said request and continued this hearing until December 18, 1961, at which time property must be brought upr.to standard. Cbmes now Miss Daar with reference to property at 513-15 E. Pennsylvania Avenue to show cause why this property has not been brought up to standard. Miss Daar requested additional time in order to locate a contractor. Board granted extension until November 13, 1961. Mr. Grabarz was requested to assist Miss Daar to locate a contractor to do this work. _BUILDING DEPARTMENT - ATTEND MEETING Verner Lane, Building Commissioner appeared before the Board to request permission for himself and John Grabarz, Director of Sub -Standard Division of the Building Department to attend a meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 8 to loth, 1961 for the purpose of code changes of the Building Code. Permission given for such a trip, after the Board was assured there was sufficient funds for such a purpose.
