The petition <br />was signed by David J. Horning and others. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BONDS <br />Special Police Bonds for Andrew J. Konya and Joseph Pyclik, employees <br />of the Torrington Company were approved and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />A report for the month of October from the Building Department was <br />accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street Light Outage Reports were accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT - SUB -STANDARD DIVISION HEARINGS <br />Comes now William Morris with reference to a dwelling at 309 E. Paris <br />Strut. Said dwelling has not been brought up to standard within the <br />time allotted. Mr. Morris stated that this property has been sold to <br />Mr. Foster on Land Contract. Mr. Morris also stated that everything on <br />the interior of the dwelling will be completed by January 15, 1962 and <br />the e4terior will be completed at a later date. <br />After hearing Mr. Morris who requested a continuance of this hearing, <br />the Board granted a continuance until April 9, 1962 at which time this <br />dwelling must be brought up to standard. <br />With reference to property at 1705 Robinson Street, Mr. J. I4r. Rothkopf <br />of Acme Realty Company appealed a demolition order for property located <br />at above address and requested a 30 day continuance. <br />The Board granted said request and continued this hearing until December <br />18, 1961, at which time property must be brought upr.to standard. <br />Cbmes now Miss Daar with reference to property at 513-15 E. Pennsylvania <br />Avenue to show cause why this property has not been brought up to <br />standard. <br />Miss Daar requested additional time in order to locate a contractor. <br />Board granted extension until November 13, 1961. Mr. Grabarz was requested <br />to assist Miss Daar to locate a contractor to do this work. <br />_BUILDING DEPARTMENT - ATTEND MEETING <br />Verner Lane, Building Commissioner appeared before the Board to request <br />permission for himself and John Grabarz, Director of Sub -Standard Division <br />of the Building Department to attend a meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania <br />on December 8 to loth, 1961 for the purpose of code changes of the Building <br />Code. <br />Permission given for such a trip, after the Board was assured there was <br />sufficient funds for such a purpose. <br />
