A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, December <br />12, 1960 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous <br />regular meeting were read and approved. Vouchers were approved and ordered <br />paid to the various suppliers. <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT -SUB-STANDARD DIVISION <br />Comes now lawrepc6.Serkes, an officer authorized to act for the Reality <br />Corporation and states that he is acting for the agent, HarveycG.`'Vahee, <br />reference to a house at 203 Keasey Street and asks the Board for a con- <br />tinuance until the 15th of January, 1961 at which time the house will be <br />demolished. Request was granted and a report of same is to be brought <br />to the Board's attention on the 16th day of January, 1961. <br />David and Clara Wright appeared before the Board and requested the Board <br />for more time to demolish the structure at 719 1K. Dunn Street. 3t was <br />the decision of the Board that a continuance be given until January 30, <br />1961 at which time said building must be demolished. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASLRES REPORT <br />Comes now Bert Cichowicz, of the Department of Weights & Measures, with <br />a Report for the month of November, 1960. The Report was reviewed by <br />the Board, accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />SPECIAL POLICE BOND <br />Special Police Bond for Glen Francis Lowry was approved by the <br />ordered placed on file. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT APPLICATION <br />An application for the Fire Department from Clement <br />was accepted and ordered placed on file. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT <br />The Board approved the recommendation of Nicholas <br />of the Electrical Department, for the installation <br />street lights: <br />422 S. Bendix Drive <br />430 S. Jackson Street <br />106 N. W a 1 nut St. <br />OUTAGE REPORT <br />A Street Light Outage Report was examined by the <br />on file. <br />Holewczynski <br />Superintendent <br />following <br />RE: SUB -STANDARD DIVISION BUILDING DEPARTMENT <br />With further reference to the demolition of structure at 203 E. Keasey <br />Street, a letter from Allen E. Schrager, Attorney -At -Law concerning this <br />property was presented to the Board. The letter explains action of <br />Mr. Schrager with Foley Adjustment Bureau in connection with settlemend <br />of a recent fire and requests a continuance of 30 days which, as shown <br />above, was granted. The letter was ordered placed on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 11:00 A.M. <br />Chairman <br />
