CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING MARCH 7 2017 53 <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:02 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />March 7, 2017, by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik, with Board Members Suzanna Fritzberg <br />and Therese Dorau present. Board President Gary Gilot and Board Member .Tames Mueller were <br />absent. The meeting was held in the 13`h Floor Boardroom, County -City Building, 227 W. <br />Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Dorau stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully <br />supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and <br />the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Dorau stated <br />the following claims were submitted to the board for approval: <br />Name - <br />Amount of Claim <br />Date <br />City of South Bend <br />51,104,520.51 <br />02/28/2017 <br />City of South Bend <br />55,256,777.93 <br />02/24/2017 <br />City of South Bend <br />$937,329.24 <br />03/07/2017 <br />U.S. Bank National Assoc.; Smart Streets Construction <br />Payment Requisition No. 60 <br />$472,356.59 <br />03/02/2017 <br />Therefore, Ms. Domu made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be approved <br />as submitted.
