The second annual Mayors' Bike Ride from Sam to 12noon on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
The family -friendly, recreational ride will begin at three locations:
Red Barn, St. Patrick's County Park
Howard Park, South Bend
Central Park, Mishawaka
The route, which mostly follows trails and bike paths along the St. Joseph River, is attached. The roads
and streets used on the route will NOT BE CLOSED. Riders are expected to follow all traffic regulations
and rules of the road, just as if they were riding by themselves without this event.
The Mayors' Ride Is a great opportunity to get families back on their bikes and enjoy the outdoors. The event is free of charge, though a $10
per person donation is suggested to help Bike Michiana Coalition with their many education,
Infrastructure and advocacy initiatives. All riders must wear a helmet and also fill out a waiver.
