RESOLUTION NO. - Ar A RESOLUTION OF THE 0=10N COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROVING THE AWARD OF ONE CONTRACT IN EXCESS OF $5,000.00 FOR THE GENERAL REHABILITATION WORK IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 5872 -75, passed by the South Bend Common Council on August 11, 1975, all contracts in excess of $5,000.00 must be approved by the Common Council; and WHEREAS, low bids for the general rehabilitation work under the Community Development Housing Program have exceeded $5,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana; 1. That approval be granted to the Redevelopment Commission of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to enter into a contract with the Charles Brown Maintenance Co., Inc. for the general rehabilitation work on the following properties: Lot # 41, Shivleys 1st Add. Lot # 19, Raffs 3rd Add. Lot #294, D. M. Shivelys 1st Add. Lot #218, Homeland 2nd Add. Lot # 2, Creeds 1st Add. Lot # 68, H. Studebaker 1st Add. 2113 S. Kendall Street $ 488.00 1504 S. Kendall Street $5,078.00 2202 S. Williams Street $4,274.00 1925 S. Wabash Street $2,947.00 802 W. Calvert Street $2,877.00 618 E. Dubail Street $6,239.00 Total $21,903.00 2.
