ARTICLE 4. BASIC SERVICES TO BE RENDERED BY <br />DEVELOPMENT MANAGER <br />The Development Manager shall provide the following Basic <br />Services in the development, integration, coordination and super- <br />vision of the Project as a whole and the development management <br />and construction management of the Public Improvements in the <br />Project which are the enclosed atrium interconnecting the various <br />structures and containing an ice rink, the all - weather parking <br />garage, and the enclosed walkway to the Century Center. <br />4.1 Procure the services of Architect, subject to the concurrent <br />approval of the City and the Principals. <br />4.2 Advise on the conceptual drawings submitted by the Architect <br />during the development of the Project, site use and improvements, <br />selection of materials, building systems and equipment. Make <br />recommendations on relative construction feasibility, availability <br />of labor and materials, time requirement for installation and <br />construction, preliminary budgets, possible economies and factors <br />related to cost, including costs of alternative designs or <br />materials. <br />4.3 Provide a Construction Progress Schedule that coordinates <br />and integrates the Architect's services with construction <br />schedules. The Construction Progress Schedule shall be related <br />to the entire Project, to the extent required by the Contract <br />Documents, and shall reflect a sequence of operations mutually <br />agreeable to the City and the Development Manager.
