CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING FEBRUARY 21 2017 41 <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:03 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />February 21, 2017, by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik, with Board Members Suzann Fritzberg <br />and James Mueller present. Board President Gary Gilot and Board Member Therese Doran were <br />absent. The meeting was held in the 13'" Floor Boardroom, Cotmty-City Building, 227 W. <br />Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Fritzberg stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is <br />fully supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; <br />and the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Fritzberg <br />stated the following claims were submitted to the board for approval: ......,, <br />Name Amount of Claim Date <br />CiYofSouth Bend $1,148,863.88 02/21/2017 <br />City of South Bend $5,239,079.78 I 02/10/2017 <br />Therefore, Mr. Mueller made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be <br />approved as submitted Ms. Fritzberg seconded the motion, which carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion by Mr. Mueller, seconded <br />by Ms. Maradik and tamed. the meeting adjourned at 9:04 a.m. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Gary A.
