Each project team deployed into the field is dedicated to providing the best <br />leak survey coverage that can be attained using the state of the art leak detection equipment, tools, <br />field experience and knowledge. Each field team will be made up of two experienced leak detection <br />technicians that also have been crossed trained in other disciplines of water loss control such as water <br />meter assessments (residential, commercial, wholesale, and production meters), and water distribution <br />system field maintenance such as distribution flow testing, valve exercising and locational assessments, <br />and Unidirectional water main flushing. It is this combination of experience and knowledge that has <br />helped shape our approach to water loss assessments in distribution systems because the technicians <br />have the capacity to make on the spot decisions regarding any fine tuning of the leak detection program <br />while in the field. They will maintain constant communication with the Utility and the project manager <br />regarding their daily progress as well as any major issues needing immediate attention and discussion. <br />M.E. No work will leave M.E. Simpson Co., Inc. until it has been <br />( verified that all the requirements and objectives of the project as well as the requirements of the project <br />QA/QC managers have been met. During the course of the project, the project manager and/or the <br />QA/QC manager will meet with the Utility to ensure that the work product is technically correct, but also <br />meets the needs and expectations of the Utility. <br />
