forun
real estate group
February 20, 2017
Re: Proposed Zoning Variance
Dear Members of the Area Plan Commission:
As owners of the Historic Stephenson Mill Apartments on the East Bank "island" of South Bend, we would like
to register our opposition to any proposed developments exceeding the existing zoning requirements currently
in place, particularly those pertaining to building height requirements. The 60' height limit was established for
good reason -- to protect the character and history of the neighborhood. Allowing one development to exceed
the height limit by 250% is simply unconscionable.
Please continue to support the character, history, and charm of the East Bank by adhering to the long-
standing zoning laws in existence that specifically dis -allow high rise construction.
Sincerely,
Luke Davis
Owners' Representative
Contact Information:
Luke Davis
303.501.8828
Idavis ©forumre.com
FF9 2 12017
AREA PLAN COMMISSION
