�I <br />it, <br />1 <br />0 <br />September 14, 1959 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, September 14, <br />1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were -present. Minutes of the previous regular meet- <br />ing were read and approved. <br />Applications for the Fire Department were examined and placed on file- for Kenneth <br />Parker. <br />Applications for the Police Department were examined and placed on file for John <br />Kelley, Jr <br />Fire Chief Alex Andrzejewski was authorized by the Board to attend a Fire Chief's <br />State Conference at Michigan City, Indiana from Tuesday, September through Friday, <br />September 18, 1959. He will take his own car. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meting was adjourned <br />at 10:25 A.M. <br />Attest: Antho#/J. Sabo, Clerk <br />September 21, 1959 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, September 21, <br />1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular <br />meeting were read and approved. <br />Applications for special police commissions are hereby approved for Robert Gammage <br />and Bert Klysz. <br />Applications for Police Auxiliary School Patrol are hereby accepted and placed on <br />file for Anita Donoho. <br />The Clerk of the Board is directed to advertise for a 4-door sedan V-8 Station Wagon <br />for the City Fire Department. <br />A petition is hereby received from Harold R. Lawson, 526 East Pennsylvania Avenue <br />and several others asking for the improvement of Nitzel Court at Pennsylvania Avenue <br />by the construction of street lighting. Petition referred to the City Electrical De- <br />partment for investigation and recommendation. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 10;.35 A.M. <br />Attest: Anthony�jX Sabo, Clerk <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
