August 249 1959 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, August 249 1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members were present.- Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. Applications for Special Police approved and accepted for Frances Wolf Denier. The monthly report of the Police Department for July, 1959 is hereby accepted and placed on file. Applications for the Police Department are hereby accepted and placed on file for Theodore Paczesny. Permission is hereby granted to the Fire Chief to attend the Fire Chief's Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 30, 31, September 1, and 2. After due consideration and study of the bids for the Police Department, the Board_ recommends that the bid be awarded to Freeman Spicer as follows: Freeman Spicer Company 520 S.
