1 <br />3i <br />1 <br />1 <br />July 27, 1959 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Monday, July 27, 1959 <br />at 10:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular, meeting <br />were read and approved. Waterson a monthly disability pension of $231.36 of fifty-five per <br />cent of a fully paid first class firemen's salary. This action has been governed by <br />the provision of the pension laws, and upon recommendation of Dr. J. Paul English, <br />medical examiner, said pension will become effective the 16th day of'August, 1959. <br />Comes now Devere D. Goheen representing Leroy and Mary Goheen, owners of a building <br />located at 1817 S. Miami Street and requests that the demolition order heretofore <br />entered be continued for 60 days or more specifically the 28th day of September, <br />1959. Said Goheen informs the Board bids will be let for reconstruction of said <br />building by said time. On representation of said Attorney the Board hereby grants <br />continuance of order to the 28th day of September, 1959. <br />Roger DeClercq, Asst. Supt. of, the Electrical Dept., recommends installation of the <br />following 4000 lumen lights at these locations: <br />Altgeld, opposite of 1346; In the alley south of Mishawaka Ave. <br />between 23rd and Ironwood Drive; Taylor Street in front of 1808 and 1812; Taylor <br />Street in front of 1724 and 1720. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, it was so <br />meeting was called adjourned at 10:40 A.M. <br />Attest: Anthony 4/1'%bo, Clerk <br />CHAIRMAN <br />unced and the <br />
