Tomshock and Frank Sochocki, Jr. <br />The Clerk of the Board is directed to advertise for two (2) vehicles for the Fire <br />Department. <br />Comes now Mr. John Graybarz of the Building Department and gives an oral report <br />of the progress on the structure located on Samplc::Street which is occupied by <br />Dick the Mover. <br />Aletter is hereby directed to Mary and James Tsalikis, owners of Division Poultry <br />Company, 2214 Western Avenue requesting them to appear before the Board of Public <br />Works & Safety on Monday, March 9, 1959 at 10:00 A.M. for a hearing reference to <br />said Division Poultry Company. <br />The time now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and the bids for the Wgts. <br />and Measures Department were opened and read aloud. Proofs of publication in the <br />South Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by Robert DeLong and in the Record with <br />an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio were submitted to the Board and found sufficient. <br />The bids received read as follows: <br />Newman & Altman Company <br />220 E. Jefferson Blvd. <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />A non -collusion affidavit and a certi- <br />fied check in the amount of $180.00 <br />accompanied the bid. <br />One (1) 59V-D4 1959 Lark 2-door Station Wagon <br />Total net price ------ $1774.04 <br />Freeman Spicer Company A non -collusion affidavit and a <br />520 S.
