January 269 1959 <br />A regular meeting of the Board <br />of Public,Safety <br />was held on Monday, <br />January 26, <br />1959 at 10:00 A.M. All members <br />were present. Minutes of the previous <br />regular <br />meeti-ng were read and approved. <br />Claims in the total amount of $4,939.41 <br />were <br />approved and ordered paid to <br />the following suppliers: <br />American Dist. S. C. D. Council wherein they have appointed Capt. Trevey <br />as a representative from the membership of the U. S. C. D. Council to meet as <br />a member of the 0. C. D.-M. Police Services Advisory Committee in Washington, <br />D.C. on the 17th and 18th days of February, 1959. Captain Trevey now requests <br />permission to attend this meeting and informs the Board that the department will <br />be reimbursed by the.Council for the expenses incurred on this trip. Permission <br />granted and the Board now congratulates Capt. Trevey upon being chosen for this <br />honor. <br />The bids for the Police Department sedans are hereby awarded to the Freeman - <br />Spicer Company as follows: <br />Freeman Spicer Company A non -collusion affidavit and a certified <br />520 S. Lafayette Street - check in the amount of $440.00 accom- <br />South Bend, Indiana panied the bid. <br />Three (3) New 1959 VW49 V-8 Engine Studebaker <br />Laik 4-door sedans <br />Total net price for 3 units <br />$ 4395.22 <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, it was so announced <br />and the meeting was adjourned at 10:40 A.M. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />ATTEST: ANT <br />J.
