1 <br />1 <br />Bonds for Special Police officers were examined and approved for Russell Tose, William <br />Yost, and Carl Swanson. <br />The hearing on the property located at 10162 South Main Street and owned by Mrs. Stov- <br />all will be continued for one week. Hearing to be held on Tuesday, October 14, 1958. <br />Applications for the Fire Department were approved and placed on file for Vernon Eck <br />and applications for the Police Department were approved and placed on file for Ervin <br />Kuspa. <br />Permission is hereby granted to to attehd the <br />Association of International Police Chief's Conference in Miami Beach, Florida on <br />October 26th through October 31st, 1958. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, it was so announced and the <br />meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. Minutes of the previous regular meet- <br />ing were read and approved. After discussion with the Board, the Board members now decide that the <br />appeal of Mr. Chambers be denied and that he further discuss the matter with Mr. <br />Graybarz to possibiy'.wgrk out this matter to comply with Building Code requirement's:: <br />of City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Special policemen's bonds are now approved for Hubert Clayborn Dean. <br />The monthly reports for August and September, 1958 as submitted to the Board by Bert <br />Chichowiz for the Weights & Measures Department are hereby accepted and placed on file <br />in the office of the Board. <br />
