1 The time now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and the bids for the Civil Defense Department were opened and read aloud. Proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune with an affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio were submitted to the Board and found sufficient. The single bid received reads as follows: FREEMAN SPICER COMPANY A non -collusion affidavit and a • 520 S. Lafayette Street certified check in the amount of South Bend, Indiana $180.00 accompanied the bid. One (1) 1958 BP4 Studebaker Commander V-8, 4-door Ambulet, Conversion Unit Total bid price------------$1,796.98 After checking the bid and said bid having met with the requirements as set out in the spe6ifications, the Board now awards the bid to Freeman Spicer Company. There being no further business to come before -the Board, it was so announced and the meeting::was::adjourned at 10:45 A.M.
