Sabo, Clerk March 11, 1958 A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday, March 11, 1958 at 2:00 P.M. (CST). All members were present. The Board now approves the appointment of Jack Raymond Bland, 813 N. Huey Street, Stanley D. Sparazynski, 436 S. Camden Street, and John E. Cunningham, 321 N. Jacob Street to the Fire Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Said applicants having p?ssed all required written examinations and also having passed the necessary physical examinations by both the City Doctor and the Pension Board Doctor and also having been found acceptable for membership in the Firemen's Pension Fund, therefore the appointment of Jack Bland, Stanley Sparazynski, and John Cunningham to the Fire Department will become effective on the l6th day of March, 1958. It is further approved by the Board upon recommendation by the Pension Board that a one Raymond McCallum be granted a disability pension of $231.36 per month or 55 per cent of a fully paid first cuss firemen's salary. Pension to be effective as of April 1, 1958. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 2:30 P.M (CST). HAIRMAN 1
