Sabo, Clerk <br />March 11, 1958 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Tuesday, March 11, <br />1958 at 2:00 P.M. (CST). All members were present. <br />The Board now approves the appointment of Jack Raymond Bland, 813 N. Huey Street, <br />Stanley D. Sparazynski, 436 S. Camden Street, and John E. Cunningham, 321 N. Jacob <br />Street to the Fire Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Said applicants <br />having p?ssed all required written examinations and also having passed the necessary <br />physical examinations by both the City Doctor and the Pension Board Doctor and also <br />having been found acceptable for membership in the Firemen's Pension Fund, therefore <br />the appointment of Jack Bland, Stanley Sparazynski, and John Cunningham to the Fire <br />Department will become effective on the l6th day of March, 1958. <br />It is further approved by the Board upon recommendation by the Pension Board that <br />a one Raymond McCallum be granted a disability pension of $231.36 per month or 55 <br />per cent of a fully paid first cuss firemen's salary. Pension to be effective <br />as of April 1, 1958. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 2:30 P.M (CST). <br />HAIRMAN <br />1 <br />
