This is the
first year the Bureau has made application to Title XX for partial funding
of the Runaway Shelter. While federal funding through the Department of
Health, Education and Welfare provides funding for much of the shelter
program, other Bureau funds provide for counseling, recreation, and family
therapy. This application has been written to provide reimbursement for
that portion of the shelter budget not covered by the HEW grant.
If approved, the Bureau will receive during the 1979 -80 contract
period $9084. A 25% cash match is required. As with our other Title XX
application, we intend to submit a letter of certification for the match.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me.
Application on file in City Clerk's office.
