RESOLUTION NO.24` "2,9 <br />RESOLUTION TO FILE AN <br />APPLICATION TO THE INDIANA <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Public Parks <br />is desirous of improving the Saint Joseph River Corridor for recre- <br />ational activities and environment improvements and in accord with the <br />Saint Joseph River Corridor plan (Master Plan) adopted by the City of <br />South Bend, and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed for such a project. <br />Section I. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana that permission is hereby given to the <br />Department of Public Parks to file an application to the Indiana De- <br />partment of Natural Resources, Division of Outdoor Recreation, for <br />Federal Land and Water Conservation Funds to finance the East Race <br />development of said Saint Joseph River Corridor project. <br />Section II.
