Parent, President <br />South Bend Common Council <br />County -City Building <br />227 West Jefferson Boulevard <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Dear Mr. Parent: <br />The Department of Public Parks is requesting the approval of the <br />transfer of $15,500.00 from account 110.0, Salaries and Wages, <br />Regular to account 120.0, Salaries and Wages, Temporary. <br />There is a surplus balance in 110.0, Salaries and Wages, Regular <br />because the Park Board has not been able to fill the zoo director <br />position at the salary established in the 1979 budget. <br />A shortage has existed in account 120.0, Salaries and Wages, <br />Temporary because of severe reductions made during the 1979 budget <br />review. <br />Your approval of this resolution is definitely needed for the efficient <br />operation of the Department of Public Parks. <br />Very truly yours, <br />DEPARTMENT OF PU C ARKS <br />James R.
